A taste of local products

On Saturday morning, come and discover the smell of Provence and its local products at the farmers market of Uzès and prepare to have your senses overwhelmed.
Local producers offer stands of various products such as olive oil, local wines, goat cheeses, fresh organic poultries, sausages and meats from the Cévennes, Herbs from Provence and lavender...

Each year, in January, Uzès welcomes a Truffle market where producers and chefs meet to admire and buy the dark diamond. When visiting wine caves and oil and cheese maturing caves, visitors can taste other local products.

Uzès and the pont du Gard

Uzège county and the Pont-du-Gard

Uzes is often called "little Toscany" for its vineyards separated by dark cypresses, village squares, country mansions, culture, and its Renaissance buildings. All this makes the County very attractive and offers a unique quality of life.

The Uzès County is also a region known for its carved stones, from the Gallo-Roman quarry of the village of Vers, used for building the aqueduct of Pont-du-Gard and nearby houses. Also, the stones of la Guarrigue gave birth to several little stone cottages, which we call: "Les Capitelles".
